Boro'waters Fishing Lake Information
Description
This lake is an old farm reservoir of 1.1/4acres, which opened for day tickets in Sept. 06. Rectangular in shape, the water shelves down to 17ft in the centre. Consequently the weedbeds and rushes are situated along the margins, some Willows and trees have been planted around the banks. These should eventually overhang the water and provide shade in years to come. The spoil from the reservoir excavation has been deposited along the back of the fishery, which gives some protection from the wind. There are 10 large purpose-built swims designed to accomodate Bivvies, which can be placed well back from the water. It is possible a number of caravans can be sited next to the fishery( £5.00 a night) if required.

Stock
The reservoir already contains a stock of Carp to 20lb and recently had an injection of a further 70 fish over 10lbs, which are packing on the weight. Other species present include shoals of Rudd with odd fish to 2lb and some specimen Perch.

Rules
Two rods are permitted. Sacks braided main lines, lead core, bent hooks, fixed leads, particles, nuts and bait boats are not allowed.
Anyone leaving litter or misbehaving will be banned. Decent sized unhooking mats and landing nets are compulsory, as are Enviroment Agency rod licences.
